From Munich International Airport

  • By Train – München Flughafen Terminal to Salzburg Hbf

There are excellent rail connections from Munich International Airport to Salzburg Hbf. The journey takes approx. 2.5 hours and requires a transfer at München Ost station. Tickets can be pre-purchased directly at www.bahn.com or via Trainline https://www.thetrainline.com/

The Hotel Arcotel Castellani is a 20-minute taxi ride from Salzburg Hbf and costs approx. €25.00. The Number 3 Bus is another quick option which comes every 10 minutes and costs €2.20

  • By Car

For those hiring a car, the 180km drive takes approx. 1 hour 45 minutes. The route follows the A8 Salzburg – Munich motorway and requires a toll road sticker for travel in Austria.
